Keeping children safe
How Galaxy and GrassPytch protect the children in the team.
Keeping children safe
Safeguarding is built into how GrassPytch works, not bolted on. Here's what that means for the children in your team.
- Photos stay private
A child's photos are only ever shown to their own signed-in family and their coach. They never appear on a public page or a shared card.
- First names only in public
Public pages and anything you share show a first name, never a surname and never a child's photo.
- No scores or tables for younger ages
For under-12s we don't publish match scores, league tables, scorers or player stats, in line with FA and RFU guidance.
- Reports stay with the family
A match write-up about a child is shared only with their own family, not the whole team and not the public.
- Private, revocable invites
Each family gets their own private link to follow their child, and a coach can revoke it at any time.
- You own your data
Download a copy of your team's data whenever you like, or close the account to delete it permanently.
If you have a safeguarding concern about the team, speak to your club's welfare officer or coach. GrassPytch handles the data; your club handles the people.
